Maris grew up in Athens and moved to Baltimore, Maryland right after graduating high school to pursue a degree in Communications and Sports Marketing at Towson University. She started in the Club Management Industry and spent 4 years at Country Club of Maryland before returning home in 2019. In 2021, she enrolled at Athens Technical College to pursue her dream of interior design. She went on to gain experience in residential interior design before joining Webber Coleman Woodworks. 

Outside of work Maris loves to spend time with her husband, Jacob, and step-daughter Rylee, cooking, fishing, and being outdoors with their dog, Cricket.
